Facilitated by the National Marrow Donor Program in the summer of 1992, Bill donated his bone marrow to Stephanie Rudat, diagnosed with leukemia as an infant. Seventeen years later, he surprised Stephanie when he attended her graduation from Katella High School, Anaheim, CA in June 2009.
